A Quote From Yours Truly

Elizabeth Kraus

A few years back I started the tradition of beginning each year by searching for quotes to live by from people whom I perceive to be much wiser than me. However, the most important lesson I learned this past year is that sometimes the wisdom I’m seeking is already within me.

Yet, when I considered creating my own quote, impostor syndrome bubbled to the surface. I’m terrified when I think of the judgment I may invoke by publicly stating that I have reached a point in my life when my wisdom could, in fact, be worthy of citation. AND that fear is precisely what I’m trying to overcome with Imperfectly Honest.

With that in mind, here is the quote I most want to remember in the new year:

“I don’t need to know all of the answers, I just need to know three questions to ask and three people to call, and to remember that, sometimes, the only one who knows the answers to my questions is ME.”

Happy New Year.
